The Friends of St. Michael’s Abbey is a group of individuals who provide for the formation of seminarians studying for the priesthood, for continuing education of the priests, for food, clothing, medical care, cars, and other needs for the 70 members of St. Michael’s.
The priests live a full monastic life of common prayer and service that includes teaching in seven schools, parish work in over thirty parishes, and chaplaincies at two colleges and several Orange County prisons. They regularly travel to give retreats and conferences to priests, religious sisters, and laity across the United States and internationally; they offer individual spiritual direction and counseling to numerous men and women, and sacramental care to the dying.
With your membership you will help provide the necessary support to allow the priests and seminarians in formation to continue to transform lives.
